Flow State: The Key to Meaning in Career and Life

If you're tired, wired, stressed, and constantly reacting erratically then you're like most people that work in high-performance sport. The answer will not come from the same level in which you always aim to better yourself such as more CPD knowledge, experience in roles or the endless chase to "Better Never Stops."

The answer lies in going against your default hustle mentality and looking at the actual physiological state you cultivate.

Over 100 years worth of research shows that the very attributes that Flow maximises—motivation, learning, creativity, cooperation, and overall well-being—are fundamental to success in the Twenty-first century.
And the most powerful part is that the application of this is practical, experimental and experiential.

Perhaps the biggest benefit you get from flow is a change in the self. Many people live life pursuing the goals they are supposed to pursue, whether those goals come from parents or society or biology. With flow you become an “autotelic self,” one who chooses its own goals and pursues activities for their own sake.

You find flow at work, at home, at dinner, in solitude. With expert focus, you pay attention to the world around you and notice more of its beauty and complexity; you’re curious to discover more. You aren’t a slave to your job title, seniority, or how successful you come across, because you don’t need those things to give your life meaning; the meaning is already there.

If you have questions of whether there’s more in life—go find it. This workshop will show the doors to walk through.

Topics include:

Bringing Practitioners Together

If my research has taught me one thing, it is that many coaches and practitioners are experiencing very similar challenges - yet they feel isolated and alone. This is a workshop to share, discuss and connect with ways to challenge your status quo in your current role.
