Opening Up Awareness is based on a simple principle:

When the body feels safe, it knows how to heal, regulate, and reorganise.

This workshop creates the conditions for that process to begin.

You’ll leave with a lived experience — not just an idea — of what it means to be present, regulated, and connected within yourself.

This workshop is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with the intelligence of your body.

In a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, many of us live in a state of low-grade tension — disconnected from ourselves, stuck in survival patterns, and unaware of how deeply our inner state shapes our health, emotions, and choices.

Opening Up Awareness offers a grounded, practical way back.

Through guided awareness practices, breathwork, and energy-based meditation, you’ll learn how to gently shift your internal state from reactivity into safety, coherence, and presence — without force, fixing, or striving.

This is not about transcending the body.
It’s about listening to it.

What You’ll Experience

  • A guided awareness and energy meditation drawn from the Opening Up Awareness practice
  • Simple breath techniques to support nervous system regulation

  • You feel stressed, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself
  • You’re curious about meditation, energy, or somatic awareness — but want a grounded approach
  • You want practical tools you can take into everyday life
  • You’re open to inner exploration without dogma or spiritual bypassing

We finish the workshop with a group reflection to support integrating the experience.

 

The Preparation

This practice has the potential to bring about intense feelings. Because of the strong physical and emotional releases that may arise, it’s not recommended for some people.

Talk to your doctor before practising this type of breathing for the first time.

As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated in certain breathwork practices.

  • Severe PTSD or severe trauma
  • Detached Retina
  • Glaucoma
  • Kidney disease
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Cardiovascular disease, including angina, previous heart attack or stroke
  • Diagnosis of an aneurysm (of any kind at all, no exceptions)
  • Epilepsy
  • History of Seizures
  • Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition
  • Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years
  • Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect the person's ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release
  • The mRNA COVID Vaccination: At this time, clients must wait a minimum of *60 days* after their *final* dosage with *NO SIDE EFFECTS* to engage in Breathwork.
